Eating minerals is terrible since food is easy to get especially in the early game with hydro bays. Catalytic Processing doesn't help them much. And there best build using Calamitous Origin and private colony ships to colonize EVERYTHING can't even use Catalytic Processing.

RP wise, your people are actually making use of and living in those craters, hence the +6 max district, +6 mining districts, and +25% population growth. Gameplay wise, I'm guessing the -50% crater habitability penalty is meant to counter Lithoids' innate +50% habitability bonus. Webcolonizing with a meteor also gives some bonus features, and because you are lithoid habitability really isn't a big problem. #5. angel of derp 20. mars 2024 kl. 13.48.
