Maybe the root of the problem is that there are too many haole transplants like myself in Hawaii. I’m entirely capable of admitting that, but I’m not burning my car yet. WebI'm guessing I'd have a much better opinion on the matter if I actually went through the school system as a youngin. Last trip, we spent a week on the North Shore of Oahu right in front of Rocky Point. Hawaiian locals at popular surf sports can be intimidating, but we didn't have any issues whatsoever. Everyone was really friendly.
