I have the latest BIOS 2305, Intel FW and drivers for all components of my Z-690 ProArt Creator board. Sometimes my Thunderbolt 4 connections show up, and sometimes they do not. BIOS updates are risky and should only be done if there's a must have fix to the firmware that is impacting you on daily basis. This recommendation is somewhat obsolete when it comes to motherboards with BIOS flashback or dual BIOS features however.

WebJul 5, 2024 · Check your bios, you will probably find that although it's running, it's now called the PCH fan and that isn't tunable. The M.2 fan will have a curve but it does nothing when you alter it (try it). Check fan xpert in windows (asus software). After you do fan tuning it doesn't detect the m.2 fan although it is running.
